OmniRx does not collect, store, or transmit protected health information (PHI). Your medication lists, interaction checks, and saved preferences are stored locally in your browser using localStorage. This data never leaves your device and is never sent to our servers or any third party.

Data We Store Locally (On Your Device)

When you use OmniRx tools like the Interaction Checker or "My Medications" dashboard, the following data is saved in your browser's localStorage:

  • Saved medication list: Drug names you add to your "My Medications" dashboard
  • Tool preferences: Display settings, saved interaction checks, and UI preferences
  • Session state: Whether you have dismissed notification banners or completed onboarding steps

This data is stored entirely in your browser. It is not transmitted to OmniRx servers, Cloudflare, or any other party. You can delete this data at any time by clearing your browser's localStorage for omnirx.org, or by using your browser's "Clear Site Data" function.
