More than 130 million Americans take at least one prescription medication. Yet understanding drug interactions, finding assistance programs, and comparing insurance formularies remains frustratingly difficult. We believe everyone deserves clear, reliable medication intelligence, regardless of income, insurance status, or medical literacy.

What OmniRx Does

OmniRx is a consumer pharmacy intelligence platform built around three pillars: a drug interaction checker powered by FDA databases, a patient assistance program finder that matches you to free or discounted medication programs, and educational content that explains how prescription pricing actually works in America.

We do not sell medications. We do not require accounts or personal health information. Every tool on this site runs locally in your browser. Your medication data stays on your device.

Our Editorial Team

OmniRx content is produced by a team with backgrounds in pharmaceutical data analysis, health policy research, and patient advocacy. Our contributors include:

OmniRx was founded and is operated by Vincent Couey, who built the DeepSynthesis lattice and its editorial framework. His research background is in computational toxicology (hERG QSAR Paper I on ChemRxiv, OSF DOI 10.17605/OSF.IO/UWVX4) and computational geometry. He sets OmniRx's methodology and primary-source verification standard; he is not a pharmacist or physician and does not provide medical advice, and all medication information is sourced from FDA databases and labeling rather than individual clinical judgment. He also runs a public portfolio of his projects, with live revenue, traffic, and acquisition-asking framings, at hq.deepsynthesis.org/listings. Based in Toledo, OH.

How We Research

OmniRx is a YMYL (Your Money or Your Life) health site. We hold ourselves to the highest standard of accuracy because medication information can directly affect health outcomes. Our primary data sources include:

  • openFDA API: The FDA's public drug interaction and adverse event database, updated continuously
  • NIH DailyMed: Full prescribing information for every FDA-approved medication, sourced directly from manufacturer labeling
  • Peer-reviewed pharmacology sources: Published drug interaction studies, clinical pharmacokinetics data, and systematic reviews
  • Manufacturer prescribing information: Official package inserts and FDA-approved labeling for interaction and contraindication data
  • NeedyMeds and manufacturer PAP databases: Verified patient assistance program listings with current eligibility criteria

Our Fact-Checking Process

Every piece of information published on OmniRx goes through a structured verification pipeline before it reaches you.

Primary source verification
All drug interaction data is cross-referenced against FDA label data. We never rely on a single source or user-submitted information.
Classification review
Interaction severity levels (None, Mild, Moderate, Severe) are assigned using documented clinical criteria, not algorithmic guesswork. Each classification maps to specific FDA language.
Editorial cross-check
A second team member reviews the source citation, severity classification, and patient-facing language before publication.
Monthly database review
Our interaction database is reviewed monthly against updated FDA data. When the FDA issues new safety communications or label changes, we update within 72 hours.

What We Are Not

OmniRx is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. We provide informational tools to help you have better conversations with your doctor or pharmacist. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before making changes to your medication regimen.

We do not collect, store, or transmit protected health information (PHI). OmniRx is not a covered entity under HIPAA. Your medication lists are stored locally in your browser and never leave your device.
